Stop by the fiber art store to see a display of the process of dyeing with natural materials including samples of dye plants and the colors they give, indigo-dyed fabric swatches, ecoprinting with leaves and flowers, and a demonstration of bundle dying with flower petals. Free indigo seedlings will be given away while supplies last.

Kate has been exploring natural dyes for at least 15 years and participates in natural dye workshops with internationally known master dyers. She has a BFA and MFA in studio art from Indiana University. She teaches workshops locally, most recently during an artist residency at McCormick’s Creek State Park.
