In this one-day workshop, students will learn to make sachets in double weave using two heddles and two pickup sticks on a rigid heddle loom. The weave structure is a double tabby or plain weave. Two layers of fabric are woven at the same time, allowing the weaver to (1) make a piece that is two times as wide as the weaving width; (2) two separate layers; or (3) a tubular piece of fabric.
