This is a tutorial using “Weaving on Paper or Drawdown Made Easy” by Henry A. Hoffman. No loom is needed. Students will use graph paper, pencils, and
colored pencils or colored markers to create drawdowns that will help them understand weaving patterns. This is useful for all weavers, and especially for rigid heddle weavers.

Students should bring the following: ¼-inch Graph Paper, pencil with eraser, colored
pencils or colored markers, a ruler, and scissors.
