All Ages Learn to Knit with Jen Richardson

Are you an adult or a creative kid (or know a creative kid) who has ever wanted to learn to knit?  Do you love having something to do with your hands?  Can you focus on a task for up to 30 minutes?  Fiber arts are really just fidget toys that end in cool stuff!  If that sounds good, this is the class for you!  We’ll cover the very basics from the very beginning.

In this class, we’ll learn knit stitches and purl stitches, casting on, and casting off to make some lovely coasters in garter, stockinette, and seed stitch.  We’ll talk about straight vs circular knitting needles, and we’ll have a lot of time to work together and troubleshoot.
