Beginning Weaving Scarf Class Day 1

In this two-day workshop, Feb. 12 and 19, 2022, students will learn the basics of loom weaving. They will learn to measure a warp, dress a loom and weave a chenille scarf. No previous weaving experience is necessary. Use of the guild looms is included. There will be an additional cost for the yarn. The class will meet on two consecutive Saturdays and students will be able to arrange to weave on their projects during the week.
About the instructors: Karin Lauderback and Gale Hill have each been weaving for about 18 years. They have co-taught several beginning weaving classes over the past five years. Both are active members of the Bloomington Spinners & Weavers Guild.
Cost: $90 members/$120 non-members (includes membership for the 2021-2022 program year)
