Beginning Four-Shaft Loom Weaving with Karin Lauderback and Gale Hill

In this three-day class, students will learn the basics of four-shaft loom weaving. They will learn to measure a warp, dress a loom and weave a chenille scarf. No previous weaving experience is necessary. Use of a guild loom is included. There will be an additional cost for the yarn ($5-10). The class will meet on two consecutive days (Saturday and Sunday) with the last Saturday two weeks later. Students will be able to arrange to weave on their projects during the week. Class size, one to four students.

Cost: $90 plus materials for BSWG member
$120 plus material for non-BSWG members (includes one-year guild membership)
Level: Beginning (no previous weaving experience is necessary)
Materials: Yarn will be provided; cost about $5 to $10.
Class Size: 1 to 4 students.
Looms: Use of a guild loom is included. Students may bring their own four-shaft looms.
