Beginning Spinning on a Wheel with Nelly DeVault
May 27 @ 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM
In this one-day class, students will begin by learning the basics of spinning wheel function and will leave with their own handspun yarn! This class is designed for raw beginners, but any spinners are welcome, whether you just can’t get the hang of your wheel or want help trouble-shooting any specific spinning problems.
Note from instructor: I am not a wheel mechanic, so while I can help adjust minor things on your machine, please plan to bring a functioning wheel. Let me know if you need a wheel to use for class. Fiber for spinning will be provided.
