In light of the many community cancellations related to trying to slow the spread of the coronavirus, your executive officers made the decision to cancel the tapestry workshop for this weekend AND the regular monthly meeting on Monday. Nancy Crampton has agreed to reschedule the workshop for October 17-18 and will present the program for the October 19 meeting. Those who have registered for the workshop will be given the chance to transfer that registration to the new dates or cancel and get a full refund.

Bloomington Spinners and Weavers Guild is hosting a beginning tapestry weaving workshop with nationally known fiber artist, Nancy Crampton. Students will weave a sampler on a copper-pipe frame loom.  Discussion will include designing, color choices, cartooning and finishing techniques.  No prior weaving experience is necessary.
