Beginning Weaving: Mug Rugs

$90 – $120
In this two day workshop (Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 to 4 p.m.), students will learn the basics of loom weaving. They will learn to measure a warp, dress a loom and weave 4 mug rugs (what the weaving world calls coasters). No previous weaving experience is necessary. Use of the guild looms and cost of materials are included in the price of the class.
About the instructors: Karin Lauderback and Gale Hill have both been weaving for about 18 years. They have co-taught several beginning weaving classes over the past five years. Both are active members of the Bloomington Spinners & Weavers Guild.
