Beginning Weaving Scarf Class with Gale Hill and Karin Lauderback

In this three-day class, students will learn the basics of four-shaft loom weaving. They will learn to measure a warp, dress a loom and weave a chenille scarf. No previous weaving experience is necessary. Use of a guild loom is included. There will be an additional cost for the yarn ($5-10). The class will meet on two consecutive days (Saturday and Sunday) with the last Saturday two weeks later. Students will be able to arrange to weave on their projects during the week. Cost: $90 plus materials for BSWG member, $120 plus material for non-BSWG members (includes 2023-2024 membership)
Level: Beginning (no previous weaving experience is necessary)
