Art batts made on a blending board or drum carder are a great form of fiber for spinning or felting. Batts fluff and separate fibers, while giving the batt maker the opportunity to blend colors and materials to create a one-of-a-kind yarn or felted project. We will be demonstrating the lap-held blending board.

Martha is a life-long fiber artist who learned to knit and crochet from her dad, who grew up with two sisters. She became an accomplished knitter and a yarn devotee by her teen years. Then, for several decades, fiber arts were on a back burner.
