Introduction to Rigid Heddle Weaving with Peggy McIntosh

Using a rigid heddle loom, students will learn the basics of weaving on a rigid heddle loom.
Wednesday, October 8th and 15th, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
$50 BSWG Member
$60 non-BSWG Member Student (includes one-year guild membership)
$80 non-BSWG Member (includes one-year guild membership)
Class size 1-6 students
Students will need a rigid heddle loom with a 7.5-dent or 8-dent heddle to fit the loom. (Looms can be rented from the guild or the instructor on a first come-first served basis, but the number of looms available is limited. Contact the Fiber Store or the instructor about renting a loom.) Students will need to bring 75 yards of two colors of worsted-weight yarn, a tape measure, scissors and a yarn needle.
No experience is required.
