In this two-day class, students will learn a variety of cast-on and bind-off methods to use for different circumstances. Previous knitting experience is necessary. Students need to be comfortable with knit and purl stitches and at least one method of cast on and bind off. Students will need worsted-weight yarn in a light color and circular knitting needles (size 7 or 8) and a set of the double-pointed needles of the same size. Additional tools required are tape measurer, scissors, and yarn needle. The class will meet on two consecutive Wednesdays for two and an half hours and students will be able to knit on their projects during the week.
