Weave an Overshot Sampler with Suzanne Halvorson

December 7 @ 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Participants will be introduced to the world of weaving overshot. Overshot is a versatile weave structure that is the only original weaving pattern that originated in the USA. It has antique as well as contemporary applications.

Kits will be provided by the instructor for preparing looms ahead of time. The price for the kit will be determined soon and will be paid to the instructor at the time of the workshop.

Each student will be given an overshot weaving draft, and instructions will be provided in class for how to weave with two shuttles.
