Explore non-traditional rug hooking with Donna Jo. With a nod to her Scottish ancestors, we will embark on a wildly fun fiber trek. Working from a kit, designs hand drawn on hessian cloth, we will explore yarns, locks, roving, velvet, silk, wool fabric….maybe more. The kit will make a 6×6 mini. You won’t finish the project in the class but will be well on your way. Finished examples will be displayed for your perusal. No previous skill necessary. As for tools, we will use embroidery hoops, modified crocket hook and scissors. Simple tools for magnificent art. All provided by the instructor.
