Needle felting for the true beginner. We will begin with very simple and basic tools learning to needle felt using cookie cutters and simple designs printed on dissolving paper. This workshop would be great for children, as well as adults!
All supplies will be provided by the instructor and are included in the workshop cost.
About the instructor: Yvonne is a local fiber fanatic who “grows” much of her own yarn, raising llamas, alpacas, sheep, angora goats and angora rabbits. Yvonne learned to crochet while in elementary school while on a service call with her dad. She later learned to knit from the lady who answered the phone for the plumber next to her parents’ TV and appliance store. Today Yvonne chairs the Pins and Needles Craft Club for her company and hosts a daily craft break where members can check in for a few minutes and work on a project before returning to the rest of their day. Yvonne has taught kids and adults to knit and crochet as well as basic needle and wet felting at various 4-H events and camps and enjoys spreading the crafts and enabling those who want to pursue them.
