In this three-day class, students will learn the basics of hand knitting, including how to cast on and bind off stitches, and the knit and purl stitches. They will make a set of coasters to protect furniture from beverages. No previous knitting experience is necessary. The instructor will provide knitting needles and yarn for the projects. The class will meet on three consecutive weekdays and students will be able knit on their projects during the week.
