In this afternoon class, Sue will welcome you to the wonderful world and ancient craft of spindle spinning! We will start with a top whorl drop spindle, and move on to bottom whorl, Turkish and takhli supported spindle spinning. Students may try any or all of these tools and techniques. A limited number of spindles will be provided, as well as fiber for spinning. Spindles will be available to purchase. Students may also bring their own.

Level: Beginner (spinners with some experience are also welcome)
