In this one-day class we will discuss AND practice instructional methods for teaching the fiber arts. It can be intimidating to get started teaching! But if you want to share your love of the fiber arts, teaching is a rewarding way to continue your own artistic journey. Taking research, anecdotes, and advice from experienced teachers into account, we will also practice teaching a beginner in our area of expertise.
Class size 3 to 8 students

$50 BSWG members
$80 non-BSWG members (includes 2023-2024 BSWG membership)

Students should bring: (optional) the tools of their trade, needles, crochet hook, spindle, wheel, loom, etc.
